The pioneer national team of Montenegro drew away to Albania - 0:0.
A draw is definitely a step forward compared to the first match, which our pioneers lost 3:0 two days ago.
They may even regret their missed chances today. Strahinja Čolević hit the post in the 25th minute, while Mateja Tanjević, Vasilije Vojinović and Maksim Novaković also posed serious threats to the Albanian goal.
"Unlike the first, this was a very good game for us. We entered the match very well, with a lot of energy, fighting spirit, concentration, but also calmness in the game, and that is what we lacked in the previous game. We started the first half with a changed lineup compared to Tuesday, in order to be fresher, and also to give the guys who played less a chance a chance. It looked pretty good, we had possession and good play, we were dangerous for the home team's goal in several chances, while the home team had no space to threaten us. We made some changes in the following period and continued in a good rhythm. We had the initiative and the game, but we were unlucky to score a goal," said coach Vladan Savić.
