After the dismissal of Srđan Radonjić, the leaders of Buducnost began searching for a new coach. Who could dare to sit in the chair where coaches are changed like on a film strip?
The option was Miodrag Džudović, who won the title with the "blues" in 2023. The previous coach of Jezera had demands related to the playing staff (allegedly, only one request) that the club could not accept - and the talks ended before they even began.
It is not easy to find a coach in the situation the Podgorica club is in - second to last in the standings, degraded not only in terms of playing time, but also at every possible level, both externally and internally.
The Podgorica team dismissed the entire coaching staff two nights ago, and the new game is already on Thursday, at home against Jezera - someone has to lead the team.
In such circumstances, the leaders of Buducnost contacted coaches who have contracts in the Meridianbet 1st Montenegrin Football League.
The first pick is Mladost DG coach Aleksandar Nedović - a child of Buducnost, who grew up at the stadium under Gorica, and was already sitting on the bench in the 2021/22 season.
In order to take over Buducnost, Nedović must come to an agreement with two clubs - both with the current team, Mladost, about terminating the contract, and of course with Buducnost.
A similar situation exists with Nenad Brnović, who is reportedly second on the list after Džudović withdrew, and is sitting on the bench of Bokelj. Brnović was a serious candidate exactly a year ago, in September 2025, when Dejan Vukićević gained the upper hand.
In any case, the new coach should be announced today.
