Champions League: Inter gives Real Madrid two goals, Haaland scores against Porto, Dortmund and Betis win

The derby of the night in the first round of the Champions League went to Real Madrid, who defeated Inter 2:1 at home tonight.

There was a lot of excitement in Madrid, the start of the game belonged to Inter, but Courtois was brilliant in the Real goal, and then the home team scored two goals - first in the 14th minute, Mbappe took advantage of Jones' desperate reaction and gave his team a 1-0 lead, and in the 23rd minute, Valverde punished the "neo-razor" goalkeeper, Martinez, who wanted to play around and made it 2-0. 

Mbappe scored the 71st goal of his career in the Champions League tonight, tying him with Raul Gonzalez for fifth place on the all-time list.

The excitement didn't end there, Inter could have equalized in the final minutes, but Real's defenders intervened in front of Martinez.

Manchester City won the match, defeating Porto 2-0 away. The Citizens took the lead early in the second half, when Haaland headed home a goal from Fernandes, before the Norwegian found the back of the net again in the 91st minute.

Betis came from behind to beat Lille in France 3-2. The home team took the lead through Ueda, Bartra equalized, and Alexandre gave Lille a new lead. 

Then, in the second half, Bartra scored again, and Perot completed the turnaround.

Lille finished the match with ten men, as Ethan Mbappe received a red card.

Borussia Dortmund defeated Villarreal 3:2 at home.

The "Millionaires" took the lead with an own goal by Veiga, Mourinho equalized, and then Girassi scored twice to take Dortmund to 3:1, with the final score set by Girassi himself, who scored an own goal.

Earlier today, Aston Villa defeated Club Brugge 3:2 away, while AEK beat LASK at home by a narrow score (1:0).

Another goal by Girassi, this time from the penalty spot, gives Dortmund a 3-1 lead against Villarreal.

An unbelievable mistake by Inter goalkeeper Josep Martinez gives Real a 2-0 lead.
