Finally some satisfaction under Gorica, finally a victory for the Buducnost players.
For the first time after five games and since the first round on August 3rd, the "blues" achieved triumph in the MeridianBet First League.
They did it in the seventh round - defeating Jezero 3:0 for only their eighth point of the season.
The team from Plav has often been able to "stumble" Buducnost in the recent past, tonight they were far behind even though they had their chances, especially with the score 2:0.
Jezero opened the match better, and Budućnost took the lead in the ninth minute when young Petar Vujović forced a foul, then crossed from the break and assisted Ilja Serikov.
From that moment on, Srđan Nikić's team (he is leading the team until a new coach is promoted) seemed to relax and play much better.
Momčilo Raspopović hit the crossbar from a free kick, Vujović (two) and Matija Jovanović missed chances, and after an hour of play, Danilo Vukanić, assisted by 16-year-old debutant Aleksa Causević, made it 2:0. And paved the way for the Podgorica team to the victory they needed so much...
It wasn't over, though - Jezero could have reduced the deficit as Dejan Jovanović (crossbar) and Japan's Ajumu Nishimura (saved by Fiilip Domazetović) had chances before the home team struck the final blow.
Vukanić scored the second time in the 78th minute, this time scoring a great goal from 18 meters. And then it became clear that the uncertainty was gone, that Buducnost had finally broken through the barrier and perhaps announced better days.
The negative streak was broken by Bokelj SBBet, who, after a series of two draws and two losses, defeated Otranto Olimpic 2:1.
Bakir Nurković in the 22nd and Marko Čavor in the 28th scored for the Kotorans' secure advantage, and the final result was set in the 45th minute by Valentin Rudović from the penalty spot.
And Arsenal are in a growing crisis. After four draws (all 0:0) three defeats followed, the last in a row in Tivat against Mladost Lob.bet - 1:0.
Anđelko Jovanović's goal in stoppage time of the first half was decisive.
