Along with Mladost, Lovćen is the most successful team of the Montenegrin championship in the second part of the season - in the first three spring round, the people of Cetinje won seven points, one less than during the entire autumn.
Despite this, the view of the table still does not favor the "reds", who handed over the torch to Jedinstva, but are four points away from the relegation zone and even 13 away from the desired and carefree seventh position.
A possible step forward in the mission of ensuring survival in the first league is carried by Saturday's match with the neighbor - both geographically and in terms of table - Bokelja at Obilića poljana.
"Everyone in the club knows how much this match means to us" - says Lovcen's offensive midfielder Baćo Nikolić, who returned to the capital during the winter transfer window.
"A direct competitor is coming to us in the fight for survival. We worked hard during the week in order to welcome the duel as ready as possible."
In the last two seasons, Bokelj is no match for the "reds", who have not defeated the team from Kotor since October 2014, in five consecutive matches.
Necessity is changing the (negative) tradition - Dragi Kanatlarovski's team wants to continue the streak of two triumphs on their home field.
"I invite all our fans to come to the stadium and help us win three new points for our Lovcen" - said Nikolić.
