"They lack a few minutes in the senior competition to play at a high level. They are young, you can expect them to be fantastic in one game and bad in the next. I just hope that the drops in the game will not be big. I know that these girls can do a lot and they still haven't provided anything that they should. Now they will surely get a chance and I expect their releases to get better and better," said Savić for "Vijesti".
Beranka, who said goodbye to playing after winning Olympic silver and dedicated herself to a coaching career, knows Denmark well because she played in that country for a long time.
"Denmark has made a lot of changes in the team, there are a lot of young players. It doesn't change much, because all the Scandinavian teams play well in defense and counterattacks. The Danes are not deadly in attack, but in defense they have played a lot in the 3-3 zone lately , which doesn't really suit us. We have a young team and some experienced and good players, but it takes a little time to settle in. As much as the young girls were getting chances, it wasn't that. It's not the same feeling when you're playing for points and when you enter with a difference of five, six or 10", Savić is clear.
Defense has been a "trademark" of Montenegro and Budućnost for years, but lately it has not been the best. It's time to change that.
