The final tournament of the Champions League for handball players will be played on Saturday and Sunday in Cologne. In Saturday's semi-final duels, Paris Saint-Germain and the Polish champion Kilce will meet at 15:15, while a duel between Hungarian Vesprem and German Kiel is scheduled for 18:XNUMX.
The final, as well as the match for third place, are scheduled for Sunday.
Of the participants in the final tournament, only Kiel won the championship trophy, which was the best in Europe three times in 2007, 2010 and 2012. Last year he was stopped in the semi-finals, and the year before in the final of the Champions League. He was a finalist in 2000, 2008 and 2009.
Vesprem was a finalist last year, and lost the match for the trophy in 2002 as well.
Paris Saint-Germain is making its debut in the finals of the best club handball competition in Europe, while Kilce will try to reach the first final for the third time. In the previous two attempts, in 2013 and 2015, he finished third.
