The head coach of Montenegro, Dragan Adžić, admitted that he was not satisfied with the game, but that he was convinced that the team would reach the right level by the time of the qualification tournament for the Olympic Games.
"It's not that, just like it's not with Denmark, probably not Romania either. We tried everything we wanted for the Olympic qualifications and I am much more satisfied after this game than the previous game. "Croatia gave us a lot of tasks and I believe that these matches will help us to be better in the next ones," said Adžić.
After the first half you were thoughtful, obviously you were not satisfied with the defense?
"We conceded a huge number of goals. That segment can be much better and I believe it will. Now the return to defense was not good either and I am convinced that we will correct that. We have always learned our lessons, and it will be the same now. There is a lot of room for improvement in many things".
In both this and the previous game, it was obvious that you had problems in defense when Jovanka Radičević was the pivot, because she could not stop Andrea Penezić from the two in defense. Do you have a solution for that?
"It takes time. It was the same with Angelo in the first game, so she was better now and I believe that it will be the case with Joko as well. "Each of them will be better and in Denmark they will completely stop everything that is requested", concluded Adžić.
His colleague Goran Mrđen regretted that Croatia did not lose even by a minimal margin, so that it would be in a better position at the draw for the European Championship.
"We opened the match solidly, but we conceded a few goals that we shouldn't have, which is why we lost." Montenegro broke away, and I think we have to be happy that we reached a tie with minus five. When we already lost, it could have been minus one, because we would have been better because of the goal more away from home. All the same, I'm satisfied that we kept Montenegro in check until the end in front of this wonderful audience", said the Croatian coach.
