The handball coach of Budućnost, Dragan Adžić, said that every victory against Đer is great and that he believes that the team from Podgorica deserved it with their work and attitude towards the game.
Budućnost and Đer will play a match of the fourth round of the Main Round of the Champions League on Sunday.
Adžić said that Budućnost in Đer played worse, while the performance of the Hungarian representative was at a high level.
"The expectations, the desire and the quality that Đer carries demand the maximum from us, higher than in the matches with Vardar and Midtjylland. We are ready for all that and I believe that we will respond to the challenge, enjoy the match and finally look forward, after a long time, to a victory against Đera and in a good position before the quarterfinals," said Adžić at the press conference.
He emphasized that Budućnost has a way to achieve this, stating that so far there have been a lot of duels between each other and that the teams know each other well.
"We didn't follow the recipe in the first match, and we know what quality Đer has. I believe that we will play better, at least at the level of a bigger duel match with Vardar or with Midtjylland in defense. I believe that we can also attack better, as a result of a good defense," he said. Adzic.
He pointed out that the Podgorica club does not think about goal difference.
"That would be a mistake, it would distract us from what is important if we are on the field at every moment of the match and give 100 percent. The result on the scoreboard will be a consequence of that. Every victory against Djerba is great and I believe we deserved it with our work and attitude so far and that it will be seen on Sunday," Adžić said.
He emphasized that there were problems with injuries, but that the health bulletin is better than last week.
"Majda Mehmedović was out of the training process for several days, while Biljana Pavićević recovered from the virus. I expect that we will be in a stronger composition than in Ikast," said Adžić.
At the start of the main round, Đer broke Budućnosti's streak of one and ten months without defeat and celebrated 22:20.
He also defeated Savehof 26:18 and Bucharest 28:22.
