Budućnosti handball players beat the Zagorje team 34:18 (18:9) tonight in Podgorica, in the game of the tenth round of the Regional League.
The team from Podgorica won the first match between them (25:21), and the regular part of the regional competition ended with 11 wins and a draw.
The most effective in the winning team was Radmila Petrović with seven, while Kinga Bizdra scored the fewest goals.
For the Montenegrin champion, tonight's duel was a dress rehearsal before the final tournament in Budapest.
Buducnost will play Vardar in the semi-finals of the Champions League on May 3.
"Zagorje improved during the Regional League and they had several good games. They also opposed us in an adequate way and helped us to prepare as well as possible for the final tournament of the Champions League. We could not have gotten a better rival, I am satisfied with the attitude of the girls and the fact that it is evident that we are on the right track to be ready for the duel against Vardar. The form can be better, which is expected because we are out of the competitive rhythm, but the relationship of the girls and the health bulletin after the representative duties is excellent, so I expect us to continue in same rhythm and I hope that we will meet Vardar with the strongest team", said Adžić.
