Goran Simić, assistant in the professional staff of the now former coach of the Miodrag-Miško Popović handball national team, was suspended for eight months because he insulted the referees during the match Mornar - Rudar and tried to deal with them.
"Goran Simić, the coach of Mornar, is being punished with a ban from performing his duties for eight months, due to his disqualification in the 59th minute of the championship match between Mornar and Rudar, played on March 20, 2011, because he insulted the referee Novica Mitrović, as well as trying to confrontation with the referee Miljan Vešović, grabbing him by the shirt", it is written in the explanation of the director of the handball leagues, Mijat Šestović.
In addition to Simić, sports director Savo Nikezić was also punished with a three-month suspension, who "insulted and objected to referee Miljan Vešović in an unsportsmanlike manner."
The sentences will run from March 23. The sailor will have to pay 1.000 euros to the coffers of the association, or it will be deducted from their deposit.
The guilt of Simić and Nikezić, which was reported by the arbitrators and controller Gojko Vučković, was also confirmed by viewing the video.
