"The future must believe in qualifying for the final tournament of the Champions League because there is no unattainable difference," said Katarina Bulatović, the right back of the Podgorica club.
Buducnost and Vipers will play the second leg of the quarterfinals of the European Champions League in Kristiansand on Saturday.
Vipers won the first match in Podgorica 24:19.
Bulatović said that Budućnost in Kristianstad must play as if they were starting from scratch.
"We have to believe that we can make up for the deficit from the first match. We need a cool head, we must not forget the result from Podgorica, but we have to play in Norway as if we are starting from scratch. Just as Vipers won in Podgorica, so can we. we in Kristianstad. Miracles are possible, our handball players showed that against Denmark, but also last season between Bucharest and Metz, there was a nine or ten goal difference, so in the end it was uncertain," said Bulatović.
She pointed out that Vipers did not surprise them in the first match in Podgorica.
"They didn't surprise us, they did everything we planned, but we didn't follow what we trained for. There is no unattainable difference in handball today, but first of all we have to believe in it," said Bulatović.
Goalkeeper Marina Rajčić said that in the duel in Podgorica, Vipers believed in victory more than Budućnosti.
"We worked on confidence during the week and I believe that will bring a better edition in Norway. The Vipers are the team that gave us the most goals from nine meters, that says a lot about them. They have a lot of high-spirited shooters. We have to base ourselves on stopping their shots from nine meters and I believe we can achieve a good result," said Rajčić.
The duel in Kristianstad will start at 18:15.
The best from the duel between Budućnosti and Vipers will qualify for the final tournament, which will be played in Budapest on May 11 and 12.
