Norwegian handball players won bronze at the European Championship, with a convincing victory over Slovenia 28:20.
It is the first medal for Norway at the European Championships, after two silvers at the World Championships.
Although they lost to Croatia last night in a dramatic, mentally and physically exhausting match, the Norwegians reacted in style, not allowing the Slovenians to even hope to win a medal.
Magnus Jendal scored seven goals, Christian Bjørnsen five, and goalkeeper Tjorborn Bergerud had 14 saves.
In the Slovenian team, five goals by Dean Bombač, 14 saves by Klemen Ferlin.
Fifth place was won by Germany with a victory over Portugal 29:27.
Croatia and Spain will meet in the final tomorrow from 16:30.
