Interestingly, the officially best handball player in the world in the EHF selection also reached the 250th goal in the European championships.
In the replay of the final of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, which was won by Denmark, right winger Hans Lindberg also shone with 12 goals, but that did not help his team.
