One of the best Macedonian handball players, Filip Kuzmanovski, said after the match with Montenegro and his team's defeat (28:24) that he was embarrassed by the fans.
There were many of them in Debrecen, the Macedonians felt at home...
"I am ashamed to appear in front of them at the match against Denmark. They deserved more," said Kuzmanovski.

Before Montenegro, Macedonia also lost to Slovenia.
"We made even more mistakes than in the first match. We ran like we had no head. The Montenegrins showed us how to fight, we didn't fight and they deservedly won," he said.
