The head coach of Montenegrin handball players, Bojana Popović, announced the list of 19 players who are applying for the upcoming matches against Norway in the EHF Euro Cup.
Milena Raičević is returning to the team, who played the last match for the "lionesses", after a long break due to childbirth, on October 10 last year against North Macedonia.
Marta Batinović, who was dropped from the roster before the Olympic Games in Tokyo, is also returning to the national team, and along with her and Marina Rajčić, debutant Jovana Kadović from Budućnost will be in goal.
Calls were not sent to Ljubica Nenezić and Anastasia Babović.
The debut of Buducnost Bemax left back Ilda Kepić, who finally received a Montenegrin passport, is also expected.
There are no Đurđina Jauković (knee surgery), Jelena Despotović (in a different condition) and Ema Ramusović, who performed a laparoscopic procedure on her knee. It is possible that all three will be ready for the European Championship in November, where Podgorica hosts one group in the first phase.
This will be the first action of the national team after the World Cup in Spain, which was held in December last year.
"Lavice" will play against the current European champions on March 2 in Podgorica, and three days later there is a duel in Larvik.
