The head coach of the Montenegrin women's handball team, Bojana Popović, announced the list of 18 players who are applying for a place in the team for the upcoming matches against Slovenia in the EHF Euro Cup.
"Lavice" will play against the Slovenian women, led by Dragan Adžić, on April 21 in Ljubljana, and three days later in Podgorica.
In relation to the last matches of the national team against the European champions - Norway in March, also within the EHF Euro Cup, Popović invited goalkeeper Anastasija Babović and pivot Ema Ramusović, after recovering from injury.
On the list of coach Popović for the upcoming matches against Slovenia are:
goalkeepers Marina Rajčić, Marta Batinović and Anastasija Babović,
wings Jovanka Radičević, Dijana Ujkić, Ivona Pavićević and Dijana Mugoša,
backs Matea Pletikosić, Itana Grbić, Milena Raičević, Đurđina Malović, Nataša Ćorović, Tanja Ašanin, Sanja Premović and Ilda Kepić,
pivots Tatjana Brnović, Ema Ramusović and Nikolina Vukčević.
The gathering is scheduled for Sunday.
The EHF Euro Cup features the three hosts of the European Championship, which is played in November - in addition to Montenegro, they are Slovenia and North Macedonia, and Norway as the current European champion.
Norway has the maximum performance and eight points after four rounds, Slovenia and Montenegro won four each, while North Macedonia is in last place with no points.
