No surrender: "Blues" want to show their teeth to the strong Romanian women

The Buducnost Bemax handball players will meet Rapid from Bucharest (18) tonight in the match of the 5th round of the Champions League.

Bojana Popović's players are looking for a third win against a team that is undefeated this season - the Romanians have three wins, while they played a draw against Metz.

The women from Podgorica have a half-hearted performance, with two wins and two losses each - they won against the Turkish team Kastamonu and Lokomotive from Zagreb, and lost against Esbjerg and Metz.

"Rapid is an exceptional team, which with the results in the first four rounds showed how much quality it has. It is a team that is a collection of Spanish and French national team players, experienced and extremely awkward. They come to Podgorica with good energy. They don't play for shooting from nine meters , they are already building a chance and waiting, they are patient. It is much more difficult to defend and we have to be focused in defense, to prevent their counters and half-counters with patient play in attack and without hasty shots. I hope that we can achieve a more favorable outcome than in the previous match." said Bojana Popović.

Bućnost didn't have many chances against Metz in the last round - the French women won 36:28 in Podgorica, as they were in full control from start to finish.

Rapid is also very strong, it is the favorite against Budućnost, but the women from Podgorica are not giving up.

"It won't be easy, we knew that and we were preparing," added Bojana Popović, stressing that if Budućnost wants a more favorable outcome, it must improve implementation and eliminate technical errors.

"We have to be brave, the start is important, to show the rival what we want right from the start and to play with us".
