The women's handball team of Slovenia qualified for the second stage of the European Championship, winning over Serbia in Celje 27:24.
The team led by Dragan Adžić will transfer two points to the next round, as Serbia ended the competition with three defeats.
The Slovenian women were losing 15:13 at halftime, but they were much better in the sequel and achieved their second triumph, after the surprising one against Denmark.
Slovenia was led to victory by Elizabeth Omoregi with six goals and Ana Gros with five goals.
Sanja Radosavljević scored six goals, while Jovana Stoiljković and Kristina Liščević scored four each.
