"Our biggest problem at the moment is defense. Even a team of much lower quality gave us problems, and this evening was another level below compared to what we have played so far. Many goals were scored through the middle, one-on-one duels were won easily, help did not arrive in many situations", Nebojša Simić criticized without a hair on his tongue.

The great goalkeeper emphasized what was the biggest problem.

"While I was in goal, in the first half they didn't have a single shot from the wing, in the second half they had one, which ended up as a penalty, which speaks volumes for the solutions they had. Defending like this, no matter how we played forward, we couldn't do anything in this game".

There is now only a theoretical chance for a place in the quarter-finals, but victories over Poland and Slovenia could bring a place in the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games.

"We should play 100 percent every game, every game and victory is important to us. This is, after all, the best team from the second group, I hope that we will be able to come to an agreement and improve a little cooperation in defense. We don't have much time, but I'm sure it will be better than today. "We are bravely going to the remaining two games, I would be happy if we get another victory, so that we don't enter the second round without any ambitions," said Simić.

The first keeper of the net of Montenegro praised the players who have not had much minutes so far.

"Bakić played great, Matović was great, of course Ćorsović too, who did only one training session, but he proved that he came to play, not just to be a number. I congratulate those young players, they are fighting for a place in the team," said Simić.
