By losing to Poland (27:20), Montenegrin handball players missed the chance to qualify for the Olympic Games.
They will have a new chance in January next year, at the European Championship in Germany, but then they will have to be in front of many great teams, because only two visas will be given to teams that do not succeed in this championship.
And in order for that dream to come true, this kind of attack, like tonight, must not be repeated.
"A large number of missed shots again in the 1st half, the same as against France and Spain. The question is why we go into games with cramp, especially when finishing, because we really create good shooting situations. It is incomprehensible, whether it is a cramp or pressure, because this is the first time in the history of the men's national team that we had a chance to fight for the Olympic qualification tournament. It is symptomatic that it happens in the 1st half, where we not only had a chance to connect, but, like against France and Spain, we also had a chance to take the lead", pointed out Zoran Roganović.
His team made only eight of 1 shots in the first half, and lost 21 balls.
"Innumerable times we had chances to take the lead. I don't know what it is, we should carry out an analysis and talk to the team, to see what is the cause of such a large number of missed shots".
The match with Slovenia is on Sunday, and the question is who will play it, because Miloš Božović and Stevan Vujović were out tonight.
"It's a very important match for placement, but I don't know how many of us there will be. There is a lot of fatigue of the players who dragged all the time, and the most important thing is that they return to the clubs healthy. We should represent Montenegro in the best possible way against Slovenia", concluded Roganović.
