Before the premiere in the Champions League, the coach of Budućnosti, Bojana Popović, points out that the German team runs the most in the Champions League, and that it is crucial that the team prevents the transition of the rivals.

"Bittigheim is the team that runs the most in the Champions League, their game boils down to that. Positionally a little attacking and I think we can solve that, but the key is to prevent their transition. They won the German Supercup, they are playing great in the championship too, so they in a good rhythm, and the team has been together for three seasons. We analyzed them for two months, it will be difficult, but we want to win at the start," said Popović.

In the composition of Budućnost, there will be two players who are the biggest reinforcements - Kalidiatu Niakata and Noemi Hafra.

"I don't know yet how much Hafra and Niakata will be able to contribute to our game, because they had a long break after injuries. The most important thing is that they have the desire and I'm sure they will improve their form as the season progresses. However, both had a break of nine months, they haven't played preparatory games, so we don't even know what to expect from them."

The captain of Budućnosti, Milena Raičević, said that the first match of the season is always difficult, and that the German team is currently the favorite.

"Bittigheim runs a lot, and we have to be concentrated in attack and play a good game. The first match of the season is always difficult, especially for us, because we don't have many preparatory matches. They are the favorites because they have been together for three years, they have more players in rotation, but on the field we will show that we can play against them," Raičević said.

Left winger Ivona Pavićević pointed out that struggle and great desire are the main trump cards of Budućnost.

"That's the only way we can get a good result. A tough opponent awaits us right from the start, Bittheim is an excellent team with great individuals. We have to be stable in attack and make as few technical mistakes as possible, the most important thing is to stop their transition. I'm sure that we will fight and that the greater desire to win will prevail," Pavićević said.
