Ivan Ubović, instead of Radmila Petrović - the owner of the Bemax company, will hold the position of president of the Board of Directors of the Buducnost Bemax Women's Handball Club for the next four years.
As announced by the club from Podgorica, the decision was made at the meeting of the club's assembly held in the sports center "Morača".
"At the session attended by 28 delegates and presided over by the President of the Assembly, Nikola Petrović, Ubović, who is the owner of the company 'Bemax', the club's general sponsor, received unanimous support," Budućnost reports.
Radmila Petrović resigned in September for personal reasons.
"Today, the assembly noted her resignation, with gratitude for the contribution she made during the performance of the said function"
As Budućnosti adds, Ubović, in his address to the delegates, expressed gratitude for the trust shown, and pointed out that in the coming period, the club will work on the affirmation of the domestic staff and the creation of female players, with the desire to be recognized for this in the European framework.
"The future is the foundation of Montenegrin handball, that is why it is the duty of the new Board of Directors to ensure that it remains so in the coming period. The role of the Future in Montenegrin handball is exceptional, because the stability of the club is important not only for all those who are part of this team, but also a prerequisite for good results of the national team," Ubović pointed out.
He says that behind the club is a difficult and turbulent period...
"However, already from this season we can witness consolidation at all levels. In the coming period, we want to go a step further in all aspects, so that from the next season, we will be more competitive in the EHF Champions League, and in the long term return the Future to where it belongs place, i.e. at the very top of European handball," added Ubović.
ŽRK Budućnsot adds that the Assembly unanimously supported Ubović's proposal that the new members of the Board of Directors be Katarina Bulatović, Miodrag Ivanović, Ivan Jovetić and Ivona Pavićević from among current players.
"Also, Ubović announced that in the coming period, he will propose to the Assembly two more members of the Management Board", they conclude in the announcement.
