One group of the European Handball Championship held last year in Podgorica brought a spectacle, and something similar could happen again in the future.
The European Handball Federation (EHF) has announced the names of members interested in organizing the championship for women and men in 2030 and 2032, and among those who want a tournament for handball players is Montenegro, or rather the Handball Association of our country.
The EHF states that individual and joint bids are possible in the bidding process, and that official applications must be submitted by June 1, 2024.
When it comes to EP 2030, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey have so far shown interest in addition to Montenegro.
Montenegro, Serbia and Switzerland are among those interested in the tournament two years later, along with Denmark, Germany and Poland.
The EHF will announce who will be the new hosts of the aforementioned European championships on December 14, 2024, when an extraordinary congress will be held in Vienna.
