Pavićević: We want the best game this season against Brest; Atingre: We are progressing and getting better

Budućnost Bemaksa handball players want to play their best game against Brest this season and achieve victory, said the left wing of the Podgorica team Ivona Pavićević.

Buducnost and Brest will play the eighth round of the EHF Champions League on Saturday.

Their first duel, last weekend in Brest, ended in a draw 20:20.

Bojana Popović's chosen team reached a draw and a point in the last seconds, with a goal by Nađa Kadović.

Pavićević said that she is aware of the importance of the match, stating that she expects a difficult rematch and victory.

She believes that Saturday's duel is more difficult than it was in Brest.

"Of course, we are happy that we won a point and played a good game. We all know how important that match is, as much for us as it is for Brest. I'm sure it will be a big fight, but I believe in my team and I believe in victory. We will give our best ", Pavicevic said.

Speaking about the upcoming match, the captain of Budućnosti pointed out that a good defense must give birth to a quality offensive.

"We have to be at the level in every segment, starting with the defense, which must be aggressive, after which we have to transfer that good feeling to the attack. Every goal, every counter - everything is important. I believe we will give our best. I think greater pressure on them because more is invested and expected from them. We want to provide the best game this season and I believe we will win," concluded Pavićević.

Goalkeeper Armel Atingre said that Buducnost took a big step towards achieving their goal with the draw in Brest.

"I want to win the game, we all want to. We had problems, but we are progressing and we are getting better. I think that with the draw in Brest we took the first step towards our goals. Now we just want to win," said Armel.

Commenting on the rival, the French goalkeeper said that on paper Brest has a better team than Budućnost.

"The result of the last match was certainly not easy for them. I think that some players are quite restrained, that the whole team acts like that, and I am sure that they will come with the desire to prove that they can do much better," said Atingre.

In the Montenegrin language, she called on the fans to help the team in Saturday's match.
