There are still 15 days left until the handball spectacle in Germany, and Montenegro will begin its seventh story at the European championships in the hall in Munich where this sport was played at the 1972 Olympic Games.
"We are working very well and we can't wait for the European Championship to start," said Miloš Vujović, the left winger of the Lions, after receiving the award for the best Montenegrin handball player abroad today.
At the last European Championship organized by Hungary and Slovakia, Montenegro reached 11th place with great victories - above all over Slovenia and Croatia.
"It would be great to repeat such a championship - that championship was a historic success for us. It's really a great motivation for us - we want to win again and make our people happy," emphasized the handball player from Gumerzabah.

Vlada Šola's first test match before the EP boys is expected tomorrow (Friday) in Stara Pazova when they will play North Macedonia, while after that, on January 4 and 5 in Poreč, friendly matches with Croatia and Slovenia await them.
"I hope that we will use tomorrow's game to prepare as well as possible for the European Championship, and the most important thing is that we all stay healthy," says Vujović.
The European Championship starts on January 10, and Montenegro's rivals in the group will be Hungary (January 12), Iceland (14) and Serbia (16). The two best selections will win the main round and a trip to the temple of handball "Lankses Arena" in Cologne.
"I think that we are on the right path, that the team is ready for a new venture, luck will have a lot of influence and I hope that all the dice will match and that we will once again achieve a result that will be acceptable", concluded Vujović.
