In the winning team, the most effective were Igo Deska with seven goals and Dilan Nai with six goals, while on the other side, with the same number of goals, the best were Žarko Peševski (seven) and Ivan Đonov (six).
The duel between Germany and Switzerland was played in front of a record 53.586 fans, and the home team was even more convincing than the French - 27:14.
This set a record for handball matches that will hardly ever be broken... The previous one was also recorded in Germany, on Handball Day in Frankfurt on September 6, 2014, when there were 44.189 fans in the stands.
Juri Knorr with six goals and Andreas Wolff with 13 saves were the best for the home side, and Leni Rubin with four goals for the visitors.
