Vuko Borozan showed how much he was missing from the national team of Montenegro in six and a half years at the European Championship in Germany.
The winner of the Champions League with Vardar in 2017 has not played for the "lions" since June of that year, but at the urging of coach Vlad Šola and president of RSCG Petr Kapisoda, he again put on the national team jersey.
And he not only reminded that he was once perhaps the best left back in the world, but also that he is not far from that level even now.
Against Serbia, he recorded six goals and assists, and after the victory (30:29) he had several messages:
"First of all I want to say hello to all the haters. Let them keep spitting on me, I will be even stronger. Greetings to Mr. Pero Milosevic as well. I was obliged to say this," said Borozan and sent kisses to his children and wife.
The reason he greeted Milošević was a detail from Lovcen's last game in the EHF European League, when the experienced coach pulled him out of the game in the 4th minute for swearing.
Soon after, the 29-year-old from Cetinje terminated his contract with the champion of Montenegro and is currently without a club.
After the Munich games, no one will hesitate to bring him...
