Fiasco, debacle, inglorious end... These are the most common media headlines from Serbia after the defeat of their national team tonight against Montenegro.
Our handball players defeated Serbia in the last round of the European Championship (30:29) in a match with an unforgettable outcome, Nemanja Grbović's goal in the last second.
"Things should be called by their true name - fiasco," writes the Belgrade-based "Mozzartsport".
The same portal also touched on the fans, criticizing the Serbian diaspora in Germany.
"There were many more Montenegrins today - in the colors of their flag, in red and yellow jerseys, they occupied the hall in Munich. They were very loud. Many people came from Podgorica and other Montenegrin cities just for this match, and they have no chance for the second round afterwards two defeats against Hungary and Iceland".
