By defeating Odense (33:17), Buducnost Bemax handball players put an end to the matches in the Champions League in Podgorica.

The weakened team, which compared to the beginning of the season was left without three players projected as leaders (Milena Raičević, Kalidijata Nijakate and Noemi Hafra), also had problems with the virus in the previous days.

"We had health problems, because three players had a virus, one had problems with her back, and in the end, Bojana also got a fever. It was very difficult to finish this week, it was very challenging, because we did four-on-four and five-on-five training. We tried to play as well as possible, while the girls had the strength, they respected everything to the maximum and we can be satisfied with the 1st half", said the 47-year-old woman from Beran.
In the sequel, however, Odenze's better preparedness came to the fore.
"I played in Denmark, we know how difficult it is to run with them. In the 2nd half we had a lot of problems, it was difficult for us to close the defense, because we had a hard time scoring in the attack. And when we created chances, we didn't score, so Odenze scored nine times from transition".
Despite the convincing defeat, Savić saw positive things.
"The virus left its mark, but I am satisfied because the girls gave their best. Of course, I am not satisfied with the result, but I am satisfied with the approach to the game and commitment. We showed at least in one half, when we have the strength, that we can deal with everyone".
Jelena Vukčević was the best with seven goals.
"We entered the game well, bravely and decisively, we had energy. We tried to respect everything that was asked of us and matched Odense well, but in the 2nd half everything disappeared. I'm disappointed about that. I'm sorry that this is the result, we fought so that it wouldn't be like that", said the 19-year-old woman from Podgorica.
Odenze celebrated in Podgorica even more convincingly than in his hall, where it was 39:24.
"In the 1st half we were nervous, but in the 2nd we played an outstanding defense and had an exceptional goalkeeper. I am very happy with the result and how the team reacted, because in the middle of the week we conceded over 40 goals, and now 17", said Ole-Gustav Gjekstad, whose team lost to Ikast 43:35 three days ago.
