The "lionesses" continue their journey to Hungary, Austria and Switzerland with derbies with Serbia.
Montenegrin handball players expect two matches in the qualification for the European Championship against the mentioned selection, and coach Bojana Popović announced today the list of players she is counting on for the duels on February 29 in Zrenjanin and three days later in Podgorica.
This time too, there was no place for Milena Raičević, who, after suing Budućnost Bemax in November due to unpaid wages, was not even on the passenger list for the World Cup.
In the meantime, Milena moved to Rapid from Bucharest, but apparently she is still not in the coach's plans.
Unlike the former captain of Budućnost, among the lionesses are again Dijana Ujkić, Nađa Kadović, Vanesa Agović and Ilda Kepić, while the backbone of the team will be the players who performed at the aforementioned Munidial.
Turkey and Bulgaria are also in the group with Montenegro and Serbia, and the "lionesses" are at the top of the table after two rounds with a maximum of four points.
On the other hand, Serbia did not manage to beat Turkey away from home, so it currently has one point less.
The two best selections from the eight groups, as well as the four best third-placed teams, will qualify for the EHF Euro.
