Matea Pletikosić: We made mistakes, but the most important thing is that we won

Matea Pletikosić is playing great this season in the Romanian Korona from Brasov jersey, and she showed her best form against Serbia - she scored nine goals from 10 attempts, led the game brilliantly and was perhaps the most responsible for the triumph (31:30) by which Montenegro secured placement at the European Championship.

"We opened the match very well, played as we should. We entered the second half a little more relaxed, we made mistakes and failed in defense, but the most important thing is that we won. I am convinced that we will enter the second game with even greater desire, because we are playing at home. I am sure that we will have good support and that it will carry us", said the 2-year-old from Sinj.

Captain Marina Rajčić is aware that there were oscillations.

"We opened the match well, that made our job easier for the 2nd half. We had a lot of mistakes in rebounding and in defense, but we will correct that in the next game. I am convinced that we will play better on Sunday. The most important thing is that we practically secured the 1st place in the group. It's easier to deal with mistakes when we win, now we can calmly see what we could have done better".

Ivana Godeč was, understandably, satisfied with the victory.

"We were aware that Serbia was fighting for 60 minutes and that nothing was resolved after the 1st half. We are happy for two points, we hope to win on Sunday as well".
