With a lot of trouble, Montenegrin handball players defeated the only outsider in the qualification tournament for the Olympic Games - they were better than Paraguay (30:25), and one of the more experienced players in our national team, Itana Grbić, says that the "lionesses" expected a tough match.
"I don't know who expected it to be easy, we're not sure... Even at the last World Cup, we were even with them until the 40th minute. From championship to championship, they all play better and are more technically trained, and they're a team that we it doesn't lie, because they have a fast flow of the ball and small players," Itana pointed out.
The next rivals in Ulm will be much more serious than Paraguay - Germany on Saturday and Slovenia a day later.
"In the next 48 hours, some things will have to change, so that we can hope for something and expect something," the center back of Montenegro is clear.
Itana emphasizes that the attitude of the "lionesses" will have to be different.
"One thing is that it is the start of the tournament, the first opponent, but the other is the attitude and attitude towards the tournament. We have to remember that we are playing for the Olympic Games and that we have to change everything, attitude and attitude," says Itana.
