The Executive Board of the European Handball Federation (EHF) at its session in Oslo determined the teams that will receive a special invitation and completed the list of 16 participants in the Champions League for women's handball next season.
Podravka (Croatia), Odense (Denmark), Brest (France), Djerba (Hungary), Storhamar (Norway), Gloria and Rapid Bucharest (Romania) received special invitations.
It is already known that Buducnost Bemaks is one of the nine sure participants of the EHF Champions League.
Safe participants, apart from Buducnost Bemaks, are Esbjerg and Nikobing Falster (Denmark), Metz (France), Ludwigsburg (Germany), FTC (Hungary), Vipers (Norway), ĆSM Bucharest (Romania) and Krim (Slovenia).
The draw for the group stage will take place on June 27 in Vienna.
The competition system of the EHF Champions League in the next season will remain unchanged - in the preliminary phase, it will be played in two groups with eight teams each. The first round is scheduled for September 7 and 8, 2024.
