The selector of the women's junior handball team of Montenegro, Igor Marković, has made a foreign engagement and will be in the professional staff of Rapid from Bucharest next season.
Marković will be David Montes' assistant coach, and he comes to the capital of Romania after two seasons spent at Rudar Pljeval.
Marković recently led the women's junior national team at the World Championship, where Montenegro took 12th place. Last year, Montenegro took eighth position at the European Championship.
In Rapid, Marković will collaborate with Milena Raičević, who plays for the club from Bucharest.
In the new season of the Champions League, Rapid will be in the same group as Budućnost, and there are also Vipers, Esbjerg, Ludvigsburg, Đer, Brest and Odense.
