The Mayor of Podgorica, Olivera Injac, and the President of the Capital Assembly, Jelena Borovinić-Bojović, spoke with the executive director of ŽRK Budućnost, Maja Bulatović, about the situation in which the club found itself after losing its main sponsor.
Buducnost was left without a general sponsor on the first of July, because the company "Bemax" left the club.
After that, the executive director of Budućnost, Maja Bulatović, said in an interview with "Dan" that the club is about to be shut down, so the deputy mayor of Podgorica, Luka Rakčević, announced that the capital will do everything to ensure that Budućnost survives the most difficult moment in its recent history.
"As stated during the meeting, the situation in the club is very serious and a solution is difficult to come to, but the Capital City will pay attention in the coming days to consider all possibilities," according to a statement posted on the Capital City website.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Luka Rakčević and Secretary of the Secretariat for Financial Operations and Budget Analysis Balša Špadijer.
