The handball players of Budućnosti are together, they did the first training as part of the preparations for the start of the new season at the "Morača" Sports Center, the club announced.
The professional staff, led by coach Bojana Popović, had 15 players available at the first training session, and by the end of the week, reinforcements will join the team - goalkeeper Sakura Hauge and pivot Klara Monti Danielson.
"After the capital took over the founding rights over ŽRK Buducnost last week, the conditions were created for them to "float" ten days late, start preparations for the new season, which they open on September 8 with a visit to Rapid in Bucharest," Buducnost said.
Budućnosti handball players will complete their preparations for the new season in Podgorica.
Of the eight planned reinforcements for the next season, in addition to Hauge and Danijelson, the Montenegrin national team members Jelena Despotović and Nina Bulatović are also in the club.
After the departure of the general sponsor, the company "Bemax", from the club, the players were free to change the midfield, if they wanted, so Đurđina Jauković, Dženi Karlson, Nikolina Vukčević, Aisatu Kujata and Valerija Kirdjaševa left.
Contracts were extended by Montenegrin national team members Armel Atingre, Ivona Pavićević, Ivana Godeč, Andrijana Popović, Tanja Ivanović, Anastasija Marsenić and Nađa Kadović, and defender Mari Plamenova Tomova.
In Budućnost, the girls who joined from the Rudara branch - Jelena Vukčević and Dunja Radević - remain in Budućnost, and in the next season Nikolina Marković, Maša Kuzmanović and the coxswain Marija Marsenić will join the first team.
The professional staff remained unchanged, so the first assistant of Bojana Popović will be Maja Savić, the goalkeeper coach is Novak Ristović, and Milivoje Đurđić will be in charge of fitness.
