On Friday and Saturday, Budućnosti handball players will participate in the "Kerman Cup" tournament, which is held in Debrecen, Hungary.
After three weeks of work in Podgorica, it will be an excellent test for Bojana Popović before the start of the new season of the EHF Champions League, which opens on September 8 with a visit to the Rapida team in Bucharest.
The opponent in the semi-final, which will be played on Friday (20 p.m.), will be the Hungarian FTC, while two hours earlier, the host Debrecen and the Norwegian Vipers will play for a place in the final.
"In the past three weeks, we have worked hard in Podgorica and I believe we have reached a certain level of form that we can test at a very strong tournament in Hungary. It is important that all the players we have at our disposal are healthy and that in two strong matches in Debrecen there will be an opportunity to they get a chance. The result will of course not be in the foreground, but we want to try as many tactical variants as possible and give all the players a chance to improve their form, because these are the only tests we managed to organize until the start of the Champions League," said Popović.
