The great man from Podgorica has been through a lot lately, this summer and the fear of being shut down, and now he wants to enjoy the best European handball - somehow united after a stormy summer.
- This season we have togetherness, we are a real team and family. We also have a lot of energy and that's what adorns us - said the captain of the "Blues". Ivona Pavićević.
In the first round, Budućnost played a good 40 minutes against Rapid in Bucharest, but did not have the strength to resist longer - now they will play against another favorite.
- It is certain that we will play our game in every match, that we will focus on ourselves and that we will give our maximum, so in the end we will see if it is enough for a victory - Ivona added.
EVERY TEAM CAN BE STOPPED
Brest opened the new season without a mistake - a phenomenal Russian Ana Vjahireva and friends in the Champions League were better than Vipers, and then in the domestic championship than Chambre.
- We welcome an excellent team, with top players, but I believe that there is a way to stop every team - I want us to play our game on our field - Pavićević is clear.
He believes that offensive play could be key on the way to a surprise.
- It is important not to let Brest play their game. We have to be at the level both in attack and defense, and especially in offensive we need to play smart, patient and with as few technical errors as possible - believes the left wing of the "blues".
The captain is looking forward to her return to "Morača".
- We are looking forward to the match, after so many years we are returning to "Morača", to which we are bound by a special energy and emotion. I'm sure it will be a good match.
STRENGTH IN FRONT OF GOAL
Perhaps after the departure of the main sponsor, many positions remained poorly filled, but when it comes to goalkeepers - Buducnost should not worry about that. With a great one Armel Atingre now there is also Sakura Hauge.
- It's easier for me since Hauge is here - she is a goalkeeper with a lot of experience and is a little older than me. He also has a different style of defending. Now I have no pressure, and she can be a good example - said Atingre, who spoke in Montenegrin at the press conference before the duel with Brest.
And the girl who has recently been defending the colors of Montenegro knows very well what kind of rival comes from the country where she started her handball career.

Budućnost and Brest were rivals in the group last season as well - after a somewhat sensational point in France (20:20), the "blues" did not have the strength, so a few days later Brest celebrated in Podgorica (34:21).
