The convincing defeat against Ludwigsburg six days ago brought the Buducnosti handball players back to the beginning and clearly showed that the young team from Podgorica can hardly match their rivals in the Champions League if they don't even play beyond their own capabilities.
When the team Bojana Popović so "strained", when one of the goalkeepers defends spectacularly, then she can also stop the current European champion Djer - as he did in the 3rd round in "Morača", but that such a match is difficult to repeat was clear in the previous round when the handball class of Buducnosti was held by the German team in the same hall.
Today is a new challenge and the third visit in total - to Vipers in Norway (18 p.m.), which is in big financial problems. As stated, the club is threatened with shutdown (and this is not the first time), so no one would be surprised if Buducnosti plays the last match in the Champions League this season.
Namely, if Vipers goes bankrupt, it will be automatically kicked out of the Champions League.
"It is unnecessary to talk about the qualities of the rivals. Vipers left a bad impression in the last two games, they certainly want to improve that in the duel with us," he says. Maja Savić, Bojana Popović's first assistant, before the match with the three-time European champion.
The future is still waiting for the first victory.
"After Đer, there were some perhaps unrealistic expectations of us, that burdened us before the duel with Ludwigsburg. Now we have come down to earth. Vipers, like all teams from Scandinavia, play fast, but we are ready for it," she pointed out. Nađa Kadović, left wing of the "blues".
A better edition compared to the last match is also announced by the young woman Nina Ramusović.
"We learned our lessons and tried to correct mistakes in training. Vipers is weaker compared to last season, but it is still high quality," Ramusović said.
