Montenegrin handball coach Dragan Adžić is no longer the coach of Crimea, the Slovenian club announced.
Adžić resigned after yesterday's defeat against Metz (34:25) in the Champions League. Crimea has tied three defeats in this competition and is in 3rd place in the table.
Adžić left Crimea after two years.
At the same time, he led the national team of Slovenia, with which he qualified for the Olympic Games, which were held in Paris this summer, for the first time. Adžić extended the contract with the Slovenian Federation until 2026.
"The club thanks Adžić for his dedicated work and sacrifice and wishes him a successful continuation of his sports career," it is stated on the website of the Slovenian team.
Until a new coach is found, the club will be led by Žiga Novak, Adžić's assistant.
