The beginning of the match was marked by the Polish women, who after the goal of Rosijak had a three-goal lead (7:4). Poland was leading in those moments, Montenegro was in the game thanks to Gina Jauković, and after a goal by Itana Grbić from seven meters, our selection took the lead 11:10, which was the first lead since the beginning of the game when it was 2:1.
At halftime it was tied (14:14), and then our team gained a two-goal lead for the first time (16:14, Grbić, then Brnović).
Then followed Poland's series 4:0 and the lead 18:16, and then Montenegro responded in an identical way - the "lionesses" scored four goals in a row, took the lead 20:18, and after Ivone Pavićević's goal, they had a four-goal advantage for the first time - 24:20.
Poland did not give up, they came to minus two (26:24), and then Tanja Ivanovic scored and the rush of the rival was repelled.
Jauković was the most effective with eight goals. Grbić and Brnović scored five each, and Pletikosić four.
On the other side, Kobilinska was the best with six goals.
Đina Jauković finished the game, she was sent off for the third time.
