The big story is over - Milena Raičević decided to say goodbye to handball with the match against Sweden at the European Championship.
"I'm ending my career - I'm happy that it happened with the national team when he's not in the Budućnosti jersey," Milena told RTCG after the match.
The girl who was a handball artist said goodbye to her favorite sport at the age of 35.
She was part of all the great stories of Montenegro, the hero of the European gold in 2012 in Belgrade, one of the most deserving of the historic Olympic silver the same year in London.
And in the jersey of Budućnosti, which remains her only and greatest club love, she wrote pages to remember and led the "blue and white" to two stars in the Champions League - the only ones that the giant from Podgorica has won throughout history.
She planned to say goodbye with another great success in the jersey of Montenegro, but a knee injury at the start of this year's EHF Euro spoiled that.
Even without the big story from this tournament, her handball and sports story remains one of the best in Montenegro.
