The Buducnost handball team will play tomorrow in Brest against the French team of the same name in the penultimate, 13th round match of Group B of the Champions League.
Brest is the fourth-placed team in Group B, with seven wins and six losses. They won the first head-to-head match in Podgorica 35:22.
Bojana Popović's team is at the bottom of the table, but not without a chance of reaching the round of 16.
Popović said that there is still a game against Brest to improve some things and that the team feels more confident about what awaits them in two weeks.
"We will try to learn some lessons from this previous match. There is not much to say about Brest, they showed how strong they are in the derby of their championship. They are a fighting team, with many good and smart defenders," said Popović.
She said that it is difficult to score points against Brest.
"It all comes down to that last match against Rapid, which we need to play as best we can against a team that has brought in several foreign players and has top-notch individuals. They play a lot of games and it is certainly easier for them to raise their level for the Champions League games. They are big favorites regardless of the fact that we are playing at home, we have great desire and will. We have to be aware of our situation and what we have, not to put any pressure on ourselves," said Popović.
The match in Brest will start at 18 p.m.
