The Montenegrin men's cadet handball team finished seventh at the Mediterranean Championship for players under 17 in Tunisia.
In the match for the final placement, the generation of players born in 2008 and 2009, led by coaches Miloš Vulićević and Vuk Kaluđerović, defeated Romania 27:25, after a XNUMX-meter throw.
Ognjen Pejaković was the most efficient with six goals, while Nemanja Batuta scored five.
Luka Kaluđerović and Miloš Tujković scored four goals each.
In the competition, which featured 11 national teams, Montenegro recorded three victories (Tunisia, Italy and Romania) and suffered four defeats (Kuwait, Greece, Croatia and Serbia).
