The Montenegrin men's handball team received a tailor-made group at the European Championship.
Our national team will be in Group D with Slovenia, the Faroe Islands and Switzerland, as decided by the draw.
The host of the group is Norwegian Berum, and the two top-placed teams will secure a place in the main stage.
The "Lions" will play their eighth Euro next year (the tournament runs from January 15 to February 1, hosted by Norway, Sweden and Denmark), their seventh in a row, and will try to get past the group stage for the second time. And it seems that a trip to the main round is a reality...
Montenegro will play its first match at the European Championship on January 16th against Slovenia, two days later it will face the Faroe Islands, and will close the group stage with a match against Switzerland on the 20th of the month.
