The Montenegrin women's handball team will play in Group D at the World Championship - with Spain, the Faroe Islands and Paraguay, it was decided in the draw.
It was previously known that Suzana Lazović's team would face off against the French team, and today's draw "gave" them both Spain and Paraguay as rivals - Group D will be played in Trier, Germany.

In the preliminary round of the World Cup, eight groups of four teams are formed, and the three first-place teams will advance to the main round.
The Montenegrin women's handball team achieved their best result at the World Cup in Japan in 2019, when they finished fifth.
The World Championship is scheduled from November 26th to December 14th in the Netherlands and Germany.
