The Montenegrin women's cadet handball team has qualified for the main round of the European Championship for players under 17 in Podgorica.
In the match to decide second place in the group, our cadets defeated the Czech Republic (26:19) and secured their place with two wins and one loss.
Things didn't start well in the "Bemax Arena", as the Czech Republic led 10:6 in the 2th minute.
In the 15th minute it was 7:7, and by the end of the first half the Montenegrin national team had a great period of play, conceding only one goal and leading 12:8 at the break. The start of the second half also belonged to Montenegro, and it was clear in the 42nd minute when Ivana Savić scored for 17:11.
Anđelina Orbović was named player of the match - she scored six goals, Andrea Jovanović scored five, and Ivana Savić and Andrea Dragnić scored four each.
Goalkeeper Maša Dubljević was great again, making 15 saves (51 percent of successful interventions).
