Three matches, three convincing victories in Skopje - as a nice announcement of the new season in the Champions League, which will arrive at "Morač" on September 7th.
The Buducnost women's handball team are the winners of the regional tournament in Skopje, which was the final test for Bojana Popović's team before the duel against the Hungarian team Debrecen.
After victories against Macedonian representatives Đorče Petrov (38:24) and Metalurg (32:23), the "blue and white" defeated Bor in the match for first place - 46:26.
That the difference in quality is obvious between the previously undefeated teams was practically clear from the start of the duel in the "Boris Trajkovski" hall.
Apart from the tie at the start (1:1), everything else was in blue and white - Tana Grbić and her teammates took control, and decided the winner by halftime when they went to a big plus 12 (24:12).
Bojana Popović gave all the players a chance, but things on the field did not change, so Buducnost "buried" the goal of the team from Serbia with 46 goals scored.
The most efficient player with nine goals was Dagmara Nocunj, while Dunja Radević, Nina Bulatović and Nađa Kadović each scored six goals. Jelena Vukčević, Elena Mitrović, Tanja Ivanović and Mari Plamenova Tomova each scored three goals. Armel Atingre made 11 saves, Marija Marsenić made five, and Andrea Škerović made two saves.
