Buducnost handball team plays against Metz on Saturday in the 4th round of Group A of the Champions League.
The "Blues" are without points at the start of the new season, while Metz has recorded three triumphs and is having maximum impact.
Center back Nikolina Marković points out that Buducnost faces a tough match against a team competing for a place in the final tournament.
"They have proven that with their performance so far in the competition. We are gradually introducing some new ideas and elements into our game. For now, the team is reacting positively, I hope that will be seen on Saturday. Metz is a young team that likes to run and impose that fast pace of play, they have excellent shooting guards, but if we are more specific in attack, realize the chances we create, we can play a quality game," said Marković.
Goalkeeper Andrea Škerović says that it is unnecessary to talk about what kind of team this is and the qualities it possesses.
"We have our qualities, we have to close ranks and achieve what we want. We regret the first game, the other two were really hard for us, those defeats damaged our self-confidence a lot, but we are doing our best to raise it to the highest level possible. It is not easy, but we are trying," concluded Škerović.
Coach Zoran Abramović cannot count on goalkeeper Armel Atingre against Metz, while the performances of Elena Mitrović and Nina Bulatović are questionable.
The duel in Metz is scheduled for 18 p.m.
